The National Youth Sports Corporation (NYSC) provides The Right Start!

Our mission is to prepare young people for a lifetime of learning, sportsmanship and physical fitness with the ability and commitment to contribute to their families, schools and communities.

We act on our mission daily by administering programs that help young people develop and strengthen character by:

• Fostering The Right Habits
• Encouraging The Right Choices
• Instilling The Right to Dream and Achieve

Our programs have historically combined sports-skills and educational activities in a unique, positive and safe environment for youth. More than 2 million young people have participated in the National Youth Sports Program (NYSP), while more than 6,000 young people experience The Right Start! through the NCAA Youth Education through Sports (YES) Program Fueled by POWERade each year.

Beginning in Fall 2006, we will further expand our outreach to youth and focused on the critical role of parents and youth sports coaches by kicking-off NYSC Right Start Clinics nationwide. And we salute individuals, businesses and organizations that help make youth sports possible through our National Youth Sports Hall of Fame.  The Hall of Fame exhibit is permanently housed at the NCAA Hall of Champions in Indianapolis, Indiana.

As youth sports experts, we work with national and local organizations to enhance and expand sports events, projects, and programs.  Our client list includes: National Police Athletic League;  National Collegiate Athletic Association; The Lyn St. James Foundation; Coca-Cola Circle City Classic, the Special Olympics, the Indiana Center for Cultural Exchange by. . . . PROVIDING YOUTH WITH THE RIGHT START!
